I wont even begin to explain how important sleep is for skin!!!
I have had a terrible sleeping problem. I think the one thing that went wrong always for me for was the perpetual lack of sleep at nights.I always found it difficult to fall asleep. I felt helpless about it and at times found myself roaming all around my house (sipping water, reading a book, watching T.V), (felt like some vampire or ghost haunting my own home) The moment i would put my head to the pillow worries would start swimming into it. my mind would actually be filled with things that i had to do but havent done yet...all the unresolved issues like i could actually hear inside my mind "daddy is not fine...how long ago did he have his cancer treatments...his checkups are due....what have u done about his naturopathy treatments...blah blah blah" Non stop it would go on... Sleep came but very late at 1.30 am or 2.00 am out of exhaustion, almost after i had thought through everything there was to worry about in my life tried all the permutations and combinations of solutions. Sometimes it was the fear that while going to sleep i'm losing control.
Solution came :
a relaxing bath...with a few candles on (the more the better but one doesnt have to necessarily make it an expensive daily ritual!) and the aroma oil lamp on.
I use this aroma oil in the diffuser lamp which is called 'meditation'. (Im no expert on essential oils but any odor that appeals, soothes but is not harmful would do)
Some of the most comfy sleep clothes...soft, light coloured(i love pink) preferably cotton.
and practice of this technique called "yog nidra"

i followed this and my chronic sleep problem disappeared the very same night after i watched this video. i practice it every night now and i sleep really sound and in the morning i wake up with positive thoughts. Those issues worries problems are still there but i dont feel out of control i normally automatically have a more positive attitude towards them. The perspective changes drastically.
Most of us look in the mirror on waking up. I do too and after yog nidra my face looks amazing and is glowing every morning!
